The syklop feel for awhile for a camera worthy of the name. I came across a good summary of the advantages and disadvantages of SLR cameras (they say SLR) and compact on this blog (a commercial blog, must be said…). If I summarize the synthesis:
- A DSLR, it is in bandouillre or in a saddlebag, then that is a compact Pocket
- A compact has a zoom range greater than the default purpose of a DSLR.
- The performance of a DSLR are best, at the level of the auto focus, speed, shooting with low brightness, etc.
- A reflex allows more settings than a compact
- A compact made video, is light and easy to use. Not an SLR. (Yes, I know, I take shortcuts…)
- A DSLR is more expensive than a compact
But, for me, was the issue that arises (see my previous post) is rather "what SLR" that "SLR or compact"… Source: Blog colormailer
