On Thursday, November 8th, the TL launched their new application with the press release below. 1 day later, they removed it for "technical problems" (in any case the Android version). Just the time that the first users can leave killer comments on the ergonomics of this new version.
Personally user of the beta version "preview" for a few months, I have never managed to understand the ergonomics and the logic of this new application. So I share the opinion of the few users who were able to test the new version!

With a brand new interface, the mobile public transport application of the Lausanne region "Tl_live" becomes "tl", simply. Available as of November 8th via an update, the new app turns into a personal travel assistant that combines real-time, geolocation and personalization.
Strengthening the digital relationship with its customers is an essential component in the evolution of mobility benefits. To meet the challenge and seize the opportunities offered by new digital technologies, public transport in the Lausanne region has redesigned their application for a personalized travel experience.
Travel without clicks
By activating the localization system, the user of the new app visualizes all the closest stops and faster routes to reach its destination. With its customization options, the user-configured home screen becomes a personal cockpit with favorite places and itineraries that refresh according to travel, without clicks. All stops are also accessible on the map, which can be used with or without GPS. To choose its route, a pictogram indicates the estimation of the occupancy of the vehicles. It is now also possible to consult its customer area and access the tl_shop, the TL solution to buy and renew its subscription online.
Testers Customers
For several months, customers have the opportunity to discover the new interface via a test version (TL preview). Dialogue on an exchange platform allows to collect opinions on the use within the network, to refine the proposed features and fix bugs. Before they are implemented on the TL app, the next new releases will be tested on TL preview.
Complete overhaul
The Tl_live application was launched in 2011. With nearly 120,000 users, it allows customers to get real-time information about the schedules and network status. Its redesign was developed by the TL, supported during the whole phase of conception and realization of the project by the computer development skills of MOVI +, the Co-operative of public transport in the digital field.
From the next updates, the new interface will integrate new digital services to become an indispensable dialogue window between TL and its customers.
The first version of the application is available on Google Play and app Store as of November 8th.
