The post office and its modern stuff

By writing the other day my article on the special series of stamps on the occasion of the opening of the Gotthard base tunnel, I realized that, casually, I use fairly regularly post online services that deserve to be a little more known. Like what:

  • Sometimes I need send real letters with a real stamp. But you don't need to go buy his stamp sheet at the counter. You can either buy them online at no extra charge and receive them by mail, or print your own stamps with Webstamp,or, but I haven't tried yet, use SMS stamps. Magical…
  • Webstamp, which allows you to print stamps for letters, can also print postage for packages. Then just bring them to the counter…
  • Do you want to be notified by email when a package is going to be delivered to you, even without knowing the "tracking number"? Simply register on the Swiss Post website. And more it works.

This, it was a sample. There are a multitude of other services. I'll also say that they are looking for a little, and that their services are a bit cluttered and redundant. But it has the merit to move!

And otherwise, for the slightly more conventional shopping, there is the Postshop online store, which also sells anything and everything 🙂
