Search book desperately…

I have a problem. For years. Years, even decades.

That is: When I was a teenager, I read. Not bad. The SF often. I have a few memories of reading I can remember. For example, flowers for Algernon, or the Cycle of Foundation, Asimov.  Or many others, but it is not the topic of the day.

Yet there is a book I have never been able to regain the title. I remember the plot, but the title or the author.

Can someone help me? My meager recollections of the train, it is this:

It happens in the future. We in any case, when I read it, there is… 30 years, this happening in the future. The Narrator, a city dweller, lives in a society where the maximum age is limited. I seem to remember it's unbeknownst to everyone: regularly, everyone goes to a 'treatment' session where a "vitamins" is transferred by a disc, or something like that. From a certain age limit, this treatment causes death.

Everyone dies thus at a certain age, but think it's normal. The Narrator, he discovers that it is artificial and against the system.

In this book, every citizen is monitored via "portals" present everywhere.

That is, my meagre memories, hoping not to mix 2 or 3 different books…

No, I think that it is not 1984. I think.

So I offer a beer to those who find the title of this book.
