Continuation of previous posts: compare the experiences of the two different Center parks frequented by the Syklop: tops of Heath and the Lake of fin.
The cottage
Preliminary remark: we'll enumerate here the surprising points or defects. However note from the outset that this is not blocants problems and that, overall, the cottage is friendly and comfortable.
As expected, a cottage by the Lake, that is to say the terrace, closed by a barrier, is on the edge of an area of stagnant water artificial with 30 centimeters of water, separated from the real Lake by a mound in the ground that will certainly once vines and vegetation.
Cottage fits the description. It is however in a surprising State, when we know that the Park is open since September 2007, so there is less than 6 months: there is already damage caused by former occupants, and cracks everywhere. Paintings were obviously made by people who haven't had painter as the overalls: very very badly done. Overall, the quality of the construction is surprising lightness: I wish them good luck to prolong their cottages more than 10 years…
Sign of modernity, the TV is a "TV IP". It shows, in addition to the connection, by the fact that the image freeze regularly, sometimes there is no sound, and it takes 30 seconds after turning on the TV to get one frame other than the Center Parcs logo. Joke aside, the absolutely annoying flaw of this TV is that ignition, the volume is set by default to… too strong, and it's time to wake up the entire neighborhood until you can turn down the sound.
Failure to youth, let's say. Techie as I am, I dare say that we can't solve ourselves the boot volume. Otherwise, speaking of failure to youth, one little quote the bubble bath that lights up all alone in the middle of the night: we learn after a phone service that is "self-cleaning" and it is "normal" (ah good?…), and just turn off the circuit breaker that goes well.
But to determine what circuit breaker is going well, we must know how to read a circuit diagram… In bulk too, include the hood that is impossible to turn off except after a delay of 3 minutes. It must surely be possible, but the manual was not delivered. Or even a button in the kitchen with a fan symbol which we have never understood the function. There is also a microwave, very high-tech. So high-tech that a manual will also be welcome to be sure not to burn its food…
Add while we're there, cleaning on arrival was far from perfect: TV and hob had been washed with a very dirty cloth and were grey streaks. And it is always unpleasant to find scraps of food in the dishwasher. Otherwise, as surprising points, can be found the carpet in the rooms: Ca is still, the carpet? Increasingly in cottages like this, with cleaning and hygiene problems that mean?
There is no radio or telephone. And a radio, possibly integrated into TV, would be handy. For the phone, you can imagine that it is possible to request a: in any case, the socket exists. So, in conclusion and comparing with the bungalows of the area of the Heath high, it should be noted clearly that, although the cottages of the tops of heaths are older, they are more "mature" and that the experience made for example appear a few instructions on the wall.
We also see that the Lake of wing cleaning teams are apparently not yet honed… Advantage field of the tops of Heath, so. Suite tomorrow!…
