Continuation of previous posts: compare the experiences of the two different Center parks frequented by the Syklop: tops of Heath and the Lake of fin.
Outside
The external environment is, like the rest, very new. Too new: vegetation, well that already planted, has not yet erased the traces of earthworks. Of course, this isn’t a complaint, but just a fact: this park is new, and the external development will be much more harmonious in a few years. However, you can still see few remnants of construction here and there. For example, in front of our terrace, there is a plastic tarp that went beyond the artificial mound. And something that resembles a plastic can, also, in the distance, into the water. That’s too bad. A point that surprised us, however: minigolf, open let us remember less than 6 months ago, already looks in bad shape and in need of maintenance: no flat course, holes in a bad state, trails muddy and paths manhandled: here, there really is something to correct. Here again, for now, advantage in the field of Heath high, so.
The Village
The Village is the central infrastructure which includes bedroom, shops, restaurants and infrastructure to host. Ailette Lake, the architecture is nice. Globally too, it’s the final rather than the Park: we perceive not often this side too new and not finished that one perceives elsewhere. The family syklop made few experiences of restaurants. Partly because of his first experience the day after his arrival, at the pizzeria: Although 2/3 empty, a service failed: slow to order, slow to be served. But it’s nothing compared to the table nearby, who waited 30 minutes after entry to revive its main course who could not… But, other service, it is especially the size of the kids pizzas that annoys: A break 18 cm: it’s small. In fact, the mini-syklops, which are not big eaters, were hungry at the exit of the restaurant, while they were entitled to what they call the children’s menu. A shame, isn’t it? And, while around us and discussing among customers, there has been is a chronic problem of minimal quantities in the different restaurants of the Lake of fin in meal services to the cottage of the “Pierrade” type or other. Yet, our memories of previous years, in the field of the high heaths, were completely different: efficient Service and satiating amounts… The supermarket of the fin of Lake is stocked in ways similar to the tops of Heath: so there is all that it takes to live in the Park. By contrast, the memories we had of the previous years was that prices were OK, not increased compared to the outside of the Park: any other Impression this year at the Lake of fin, where everything is expensive, really. In addition, they managed to sell me the wood wet for the chimney, that I did not use it, even if I have my badge of guardian of the fire got in the scouts at the time… Overall a bad impression to the Lake of fin, all means are good to save the Park and to make profits on the back of the customer. There is, however, an acceptable limit to these processes, and it is outdated. That was not the case at the tops of Heath. Advantage, still and far this time, to the tops of Heath. Suite tomorrow!…
