Continuation of previous posts: compare the experiences of the two different Center parks frequented by the Syklop: tops of Heath and the Lake of fin.
Facilities
Two points where we had the impression that the Lake of wing facilities were not as thoughtful as those of the heaths tops: the tops of Heath, there is a large well thought room which includes a scene, games for children, billiards, bowling and much more. This place is very nice because the parents can enjoy a cocktail at the bar with an eye on their offspring who's playing or watching a show. It's really nice. Nothing like that to the Lake of fin: there are of course the same activities, scenes, bowling and bars, but everything is separate: the bar is next to the bowling, but the games for children are in a separate room, soulless, and… without bar cocktail for parents. No bar at all for that matter. Too bad. I also bet they would rectify the situation within a few years… Another point, the scene where take place the traditional activities, fin, lost Lake in the middle of a restaurant, apart from any logical flow and… outside view from the bar. Still a point in favor of the tops of Heath 😉
The bedroom
The bedroom of the Lake of fin is very nice. There are the same recipes as the tops of Heath: pool waves, slides, Wild River, and so on. However, it is initially larger. In the case holes, there's more slides. A note: the keys to the lockers in the locker room, type "bracelets" to fix to the poiignet are already almost all shoddy: it is therefore impossible to fix in his arm. For a few months of use, it's task. And I've already told you the day or the bedroom remained closed from 10: 00 to 13: 00 due to "faulty pump"? No, I think: during our stay, the bedroom did not open at 10: 00. For 90 minutes, we were told "that will open in 10 minutes", without further explanation. After that, it's tired: we went to ask the front desk what was going on, and we got a "ca will open in 10 minutes" more. And when I asked what compensation, or gesture, or proposed alternative solution Center Parcs, the hostess thought I was joking. I had to insist that she understood that I was serieur, and she asked me to speak to a Manager, but that "nobody was available at the time". A true foutage of mouth. I have not lost time to return later to speak to a Manager, but I will send the URLs of these tickets… Otherwise, so the bedroom of the Lake of fin wins would gain compared to that of Heath high if its pumps were more reliable and more respectful owners of their client.
The activities offered
Between 2 parks, the animations are similar. The quality and friendliness of facilitators does not suffer any criticism. Equality, therefore. We (re-) however will be the location of the scene at the Lake of fin less friendly to the tops of Heath. See above.
Conclusions
Phew: We do. The Center Parcs recipe to the tops of Heath or vane Lake, still works: A holiday concept that pleases families, and even, apparently, others too. Therefore, recommend even to skeptics like I was before. The "new" Center Parcs of the Ailette Lake is promising, too. It suffers however from its newness: not yet established development, teething problems, lack of break-in. But it's especially, more environmental, this unfortunate impression to give the least possible to the customer by making him pay the most possible: it is much more visible than at the tops of Heath, and it gets annoying. We can obviously put it on account of the lack of experience of the management of the Park. It's a shame, but it can only get better! It seems that Center Parcs will open up a new field in 2009… I look forward to try 😉
